[Vanille is on the beach just outside of Olivine, flopped on the sand - her Gyarados is on the sand as well, looking content, as the two seem nice and relaxed. In the background, there's also her Mamoswine sleeping - oh, and her Yamask is sleeping as well.]
Well! Today's a pretty special day! You want to know why? Because Scoop got to level 100 today! Mhm, she's my starter, and now she's really powerful! So - we went and beat the gym, and saw Jasmine! She's a pretty nice girl, isn't she?
But it wasn't just Scoop - Fang and Ore here [relaxing onto her gyarados more] helped as well! And then Feathers came and sweeped up, too!

That isn't why I'm doing this today, though! You remember how we got those TMs, after... well, after that nightmare? I got Substitute, and Skippy, Fluffy, and the rest wouldn't stop making these cute dolls all over the house!
[...A pause, as Vanille gives a bit of a happy grunt.]
What I wanted to ask everybody - what's your favorite Pokemon? Or, is there one you think is just too cute?
[She... might be taking this information for a Christmas thing. You see, she's taken up a hobby of collecting the Substitute dolls and painting them up and attaching things to them - to make custom plushes, based off of the Substitute base! It helps distract her from thinking about home. About her fate...]

[Vanille is on the network again, holding her Yamask close. She's had nightmares, yes. But honestly? She's more curious. Her mind is still racing]

You know... since we've been all coming though, do you really think only people come though? Who knows - maybe our closest Pokemon friends used to be our friends in our old world?
[A sigh - Vanille nuzzles her Yamask a little, and Lucy gives a slight smile. Her Mamoswine is still in the background - the one she dreamed about, alongside her friend.]
So! Maybe our wishes will come true in another way - I'm still wishing for all of your friends!
[Clap, and smile!
...Oh yeah. She'd better tell them. In case they chase her again.]
...Oh! By the by! Everybody - I'm going to go fight Misty! I'll be back after that - me and Lucy feel we're strong enough now! Speaking of - Lucy! You had something you wanted to ask, right?
Yeaaa...
Okay! That's it for me today - let's give it up for Lucy!
[The Yamask gives a whine, before switching to pure Poke-speak.]
Um... my name is Lucy. I am a Yamask. I used to be a person. Like... I was a trainer.
Ya... Vanille and I are friends.
But I am scary. Silver Hair does not like me.
Nope.
I want to not be scary. How? I want to be friends. With everybody.
[A nod, and Vanille stops the post. No, she doesn't know what her ghost buddy said.]

[Vanille's just resting between her Mamoswines tusks, as she records this video, nice and relaxed as the large creature sleeps.

She's totally safe. c: But she has thoughts. On her mind. And she just can't stop thinking...]

...How about we play a game, everybody! [A game. Right.] Let's say you had the power to bring anybody here. Anybody at all! And you two could stay here forever. Who would you pick, out of anybody from any world?
[A pause.]
Buuut... if you've gotten people you really want to be with you, I guess this isn't that fun. What if they didn't remember you? How would you deal with that?
[That's when the video ends... Vanille has reasons for this. She's just been pondering what might happen if she appears... she's got so many worries.]

[From Vanille, it's time for a text. Why? She's just... she's not in the mood for showing her face. But, a picture does appear - a badge, a Boulder Badge, on the back of a Kabuto. All these different paragraphs come in a few minutes after each other.]

So, I beat Brock! That's one out of sixteen - and then what? I'm not too clear on what being a trainer means. Is beating these sixteen gym leaders all there is? Because it seems sort of easy, if they're all as easy as Brock! Even if he was distracted by my cuteness. :)

Actually, that brings me onto my question! :) That smile - I don't know many of them. Why don't we share our favorites, so we can all share the knowledge? My favorite is :), because it's just so... me!

Oh! Speaking of me - it was my birthday a few days ago! :) It was a pretty nice day - and now I'm a year older! Sorry I didn't tell anybody else, but I've been busy!

I asked a bit ago about Yamask - but are every Pokedex entry true? I was reading about Kadabra, and it said it used to be a human too! How many of these Pokemon used to be humans?

[It's near the edge of Saffron when the post clicks on (near the trees bordering the town) - Vanille sitting in the slight grass, with such a warm smile on her face - oh, and a Magikarp flopping around her playfully, fighting with a Rattata. But she then calls over the Pokemon holding the PokeGear!]
C'mon, Lucy! Don't be shy! Ore and Joey won't hurt you, I promise.
[And so it is closer, slightly bobbing. Well, that's what you get when you have a Yamask holding it, I guess? After a moment, Vanille then nods.]
Well, then! I just got off work, but I've been thinking. I recently caught a Zubat and Woobat, but they went to the box when I caught them. I've checked on the two after I got back to town, but I've been wondering... does anybody know what the box is like? I haven't noticed my Pokemon being upset, but they're not quite like you and me, so... I don't want to hurt them.
[...She still remembers having her team trapped in the box because of that creature. Vanille shakes her head, and then.]
Also, is the Pokedex right? You see, I found myself with a Yamask, and I was reading about her--
[Suddenly, the Pokegear is dropped, a terrified cry coming from behind it. Why? Well, that Magikarp in the background is glowing...

And as the Pokegear is dropped, as Vanille turns, the video ends with her gasping, the beast glowing and growing.

Whoops. Ah well, she'll be fine... right?]

001 - Video/Action for Cherrygrove - forward-dated to the evening of the 30th

[Today, as the moon rises every so slightly, the network pops on, the 'gear clearly being held by a Pokemon. It's all shaky, there are some branches in the way - but the carrier doesn't seem to care.

It's pointed down at the slight beach in Cherrygrove - and look, there's somebody fishing, this late! And in this heat... well, it's a good thing to do, right? And at least it's not as hot as it used to be earlier, huh?

A few moments later, the person fishing lets out a gasp!]
I've got it! [she exclaims - pulling and tugging, before... she fished up a Magikarp.

Wait, is that Magikarp flying towards the camera?

It is. The network post suddenly stops, as it blacks out from the Magikarp.


A few moments later, a the video feed turns back on, Vanille holding an Aipom by the tail in one hand, and that Magikarp in another, a smile on her face. The 'gear is being held by a Hoppip who's being held by a Vanilite.]
And that's how you catch a thief who won't fight properly! [She says, with a bit of a playful smile. But, she does seem to pause for a little... in her mind, she's still debating a few things.

But... it should be fine, right? Introducing herself. There's quite a few places to hide if there's people after her on this.]
I arrived a few days ago, but this monkey stole my phone straight away! [Hmph! She does give a bit of a pout!] I've been running and running around for around this whole time. So, I've already learned a few things - but there's still a few questions I have.
[...Pause. Might as well ask different people different questions.]
My name's Vanille.
...And now - Pitch? I told you fish were pretty nice, right? How about I show you!
[The 'gear turns off, as she turns to talk to her off-screen companion. That poor Magikarp... Vanille's still thinking you can eat these things.]
