From what I understand about Pokedex entries, they are mostly misunderstandings or superstitious babble. I had a Kadabra that evolved from an Abra, and the Abra hatched from an egg. I don't mean to be insultive in any way, but I don't see how the Pokemon could have been humans at a point unless some strange magic shenanigans happened sometime long ago. But the Unown in the Ruins of Alph had messages somewhat saying that?
